A US cruise ship just docked in Cuba.

Fathom’s history-making Adonia ship docked in the Port of Havana on Monday morning, the first US ship to do so in more than half a century.

Carnival counsel Arnie Perez was the first to step off the ship in Havana.

The ship will be stopping for two days in Havana before making its way to the ports of Cienfuegos and Santiago de Cuba.

It’s an itinerary that will be repeated every two weeks.

Not on the agenda? Beach visits, because such “leisure” activities are still not actually legal under the US government’s Cuba travel restrictions.
