Havana Air has launched the first automated direct airline booking service to Cuba for U.S. travelers.
Beginning January 1, 2016, users can begin effortlessly booking their flights via the airline’s website.
The user-friendly platform will allow travelers to book their reservations while having the ability to access and submit all required authorization forms and Visa purchase for travel to Cuba.
In light of recently loosened tourism restrictions and increasing interest in travel to the island, Havana Air’s new automated system seeks to simplify the paperwork and processes Americans need to plan their trip, the company said.
The airline’s sister company, Cultural Explorations, which specializes in providing unique, personally-tailored Cuban cultural immersions, also provides an outlet through which travelers can complete their planning process.
Established in 2007, Havana Air offers over 85 flights a month from Miami to five Cuban destinations– Havana, Camaguey, Santa Clara, Holguin, and Santiago.
