A major new hotel brand is coming to Cuba.

Ultra-luxe hotel company Banyan Tree has announced plans to open its new Dhawa Cayo Las Brujas hotel in Cuba next year.

The hotel is part of the company’s newest brand, Dhawa, which focuses on high design and includes elements like “Cocoons” instead of rooms, “pods” instead of bathrooms and LED mood lighting, among other features.

Dhawa Cayo Las Brujas is slated for opening in July 2016 with 516 keys, three restaurants, a swimming pool, gym, kids club, water sports center and meeting facilities.

It will be Singapore-based Banyan Tree’s second hotel in the region, along with Banyan Tree Mayakoba in Mexico.

Overall, Banyan Tree manages or owns interests in 38 hotels and resorts, along with 70 spas and 80 retail galleries around the world.
