By the Cuba Journal staff
On our recent trip to Cuba, Cuba Journal got an in-depth, up-close look at Ernest Hemingway’s home at Finca Vigia outside of Havana.
And with help from the wonderful staff at the historic site, Cuba Journal was able to get an up-close look at Hemingway’s typewriter.
Hemingway used a Corona 3 typewriter for most of his life, and it remains in the same condition as when he left it when he departed the Finca for good in 1960.
For more on Hemingway in Cuba, see Cuba Journal’s recent pieces here (on the bar at Hemingway’s house) and here.
