The Cuba Journal is the Media Sponsor for the event and will also be sponsoring the Hemingway Festival Cuba Journal Internship Award. The winner will be announced at the event. The University of Idaho Hemingway Alliance dates to the early 1990s, when the Hemingway Foundation approached the University of Idaho about sponsoring The Hemingway Review. In 1993, through a collaboration between the Department of English and the University of Idaho Press, the first issue was published.
