Sure, you’ve had Cuban Coffee before, that sweet alchemy of spoonfuls of sugar and robust espresso.
But have you had it in Cuba?
Old Havana is increasingly filled with restaurants aiming to cater to travelers, but some stops are simply better than others.
Some are for tourists, while others actually deliver something truly authentic.
One of our favorites is Cafe Habana, just off Calle Amargura near the Conde de Villanueva hotel, with a classic cafe counter and an adjacent dining room.
But the coffee here is the story, with spectacular Cuban espresso and what just might be the best Cafe Con Leche in all of Havana.
It’s a must-stop on any walk around the old city.
