While charter flights have helped expand travel to Havana, it’s still hard for many travelers to get to the eastern hub of Santiago de Cuba.

That’s about to change, however, with a new option through Turks and Caicos.

Caribbean carrier InterCaribbean Airways will be launching flights from Providenciales to Santiago de Cuba.

The twice-weekly flights will launch Dec. 10, flying seasonally from Dec. 10 through March 16, 2016.

The return flights from Cuba will operate on Friday and Monday, respectively, departing at 9:10 AM local time in Santiago.

InterCaribbean also said it would be launching Havana flights “in early 2016.”

The company recently signed a codeshare with British Airways, offering a new gateway for travelers from London.
