An “Eco-Surf and Turf” Trip to Cuba

In response to high demand for travel to Cuba, The Center for Responsible Travel (CREST) is hosting an eight-day, seven-night Charter Club trip May 1-8, 2016.

The trip will focus on ‘eco-surf and turf’ – a selection of of the island’s marine, cultural, and natural tourism offerings.

Activities will include a countryside bed and breakfast stay, a visit to Vinales Valley, and a trip to Las Terrazas UNESCO Biosphere Reserve– a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Guests will also have opportunities for snorkeling, birding, and scuba diving on the Guanahacabibes Peninsula.

The tour will conclude in Havana, where guests will stay in a recently renovated old city hotel, and enjoy meals in local restaurants.

Throughout their travels, guests will also enjoy educational meetings with leading artists, musicians, health and tourism officials, and marine biologists, as well as salsa lessons and musical performances.

The cost of the trip is $3,625 per person, double occupancy, or $3,925 per person, single occupancy, including the chartered roundtrip service from Miami to Havana.
