Beginning in the spring of 2016, Pearl Seas Cruises is planning to offer a series of 7 to 10-night cultural voyages to Cuba.
Passengers aboard the line’s newest vessel, the Pearl Mist, will travel from South Florida to several Cuban ports including Havana, Cienfuegos, and Santiago de Cuba, and will visit several UNESCO World Heritage Sites through People to People cultural exchanges.
“We are delighted to play such an important role in the People-to-People program in support of the Cuban people. The 210-passenger Pearl Mist allows access to more of Cuba’s ports and regions, while providing a relaxed means to engage directly with Cubans and explore the rich history and fabric of Cuban culture,” said Charles Robertson, President of Pearl Seas Cruises.
The brand-new Pearl Mist features 105 staterooms and suites, spectacular views from private verandas and large glass doors and windows, and all of the latest technology in safety, environmental, and comfort standards.
These voyages are pending approval by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Treasury, the Department of Commerce and the Cuban government.
