The Cuba Journal is seeking college and university students (undergrad or grad) for a three month internship.

Interns will be involved in:

  • news gathering, fact checking and news design;
  • learning about the technical aspects of digital newspaper SEO, Google News indexing and web technologies for digital publishers;
  • practical aspects of attribution, copyright and fair use;
  • by-line/attribution for selected articles published by the Cuba Journal

The intern will work remotely from any location in the USA and will be expected to work eight to ten hours per week. The start date is flexible but should be soon after the announcement date. The Cuba Journal will pay $250 per month with an option to expand the role at the end of the internship.
