Havana Moon will premier on cinema screens across the globe for one night only on Friday, September 23.
Havana Moon captures the historic concert by The Rolling Stones in Havana, Cuba. Directed by Paul Dugdale (Adele, Coldplay) this epic, record breaking concert features the hits ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’, ‘It’s Only Rock ’n Roll’, ‘Gimme Shelter’, ‘Brown Sugar’, ‘Satisfaction’ and many more. Filmed at the end of the América Latina Olé Tour 2016 Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, and Ronnie Wood perform a set to over 1.2 million fans.
“The Cuba show was simply amazing,” says Mick Jagger. “It was an incredible moment; a huge sea of people for as far as the eye could see. You could feel the buzz of the enthusiasm from the crowd and that was for me the stand out moment.”
The concert, called “Concert for Amity,” took place at the Ciudad Deportiva in Havana on March 25, the same week as President Obama’s visit. The Stones were the first rock band to play an open-air, free concert in the island nation.
“There’s the sun the moon the stars and The Rolling Stones,” adds Keith Richards. “Seeing Cuba finally get the chance to rock out was special… A night to remember in Havana.”
